Every Lego Elves Water Element Character Ever Made!

The Lego Elves theme is one of my favourite themes that has been produced within the past few years. I think the design concept of Elvendale is creative and magical, along with the range of characters that were produced. One of the features of the Elves story is that there are four main elements, water, fire, earth and air, along with the rare elements of love and light.

This page provides an overview of all the water element characters that were created.

NAIDA

Let’s start with Naida Riverheart, who is one of the main elves. Lego describes her in more detail:

Naida the water elf is an adventurer at heart. She is a sensitive daydreamer, who is not afraid to follow her dreams and loves to sail the Izdur Ocean. With her quiet bravery and wisdom she is pretty popular, and her empathetic, nice and patient personality makes her an important element in a group.

Powers: Controls bodies of water: the sea, lakes and waterfalls.
Strengths: Confident, helpful, nurturing and wise.
Flaws: Daydreamer, a bit quieter than the rest, and can be quite stubborn at times.
Skills: She controls water and has a special relationship with all water animals; she is quite powerful for her age. She can make others feel special.
Favourite things: Adventures, maps, friendship, animals and board games, sailing and spending time in the spa.
Did you know: Naida lives by the water in her houseboat, and sometimes she stays in an old beautiful spa, where her friend Delphia the dolphin lives.

MINI DOLLS

Naida has a pale skin tone, with hair that is pale aqua that has a medium azure gradient at the tips. Her hair is left out except for a simple braid that goes across her head like a hair band. She also has a blue design across her forehead and some simple white dots across one cheek. She also has the water element on one shoulder. Naida also has blue eyes and pale pink lips.

Across the four story lines of the Elves theme Naida’s clothing changes four times:

Story line one: Naida is in a pale blue top, with darker blue swirls. Her skirt is medium azure and she has simple navy sandals. Her main accessory for this story line is the elemental key. In one set she also comes with a pale blue fabric cloak (Skyra’s Mysterious Sky Castle).

Story line two: Naida is wearing a mostly dark azure dress, that features an asymmetrical neckline and lighter coloured bubbles. She is also wearing sandals with a dark azure swirl design. In one set she also has a medium azure hood and cloak (Ragana’s Magic Shadow Castle).

Story line three: Naida is in a medium blue dress that has dark azure detailing. Her top features silver swirls and neckline. Once again she is in sandals with a navy swirl design.

Story line four: Naida is in her armour outfit. This has a medium blue skirt with a pale blue section. The top has pale blue, medium azure and navy sections with a navy diagonal strap. She is also in navy blue boots that cover her entire legs. Her main accessory is a golden staff, which is used as a weapon.

TIDUS

Another water elf character is Tidus Stormsurfer, who appeared in the second story line. Lego describes him in detail:

Tidus Stormsurfer, Dragon Trainer, is in fact a strong water elf. He loves to learn all about how to act around dragons and “connect” with them. He’s a caring soul, and he is grateful for every friendly fellow being that crosses his path. He feels very close to animals, nature, and is fascinated by the mysteries of life. Will often lose his train of thought in the middle of a --- oh, look! A squirrel!

Strengths: Wise, honourable, honest, well known and liked, idealistic, tactful, polite, patient, good listener, and a bit mysterious.
Flaws: Thinks a lot! Often looks to books for answers instead of within. He needs his space once in a while, which sometimes comes across quite rude.
Skills: Strong ability to control water. Great with animals but especially dragons (very rare).
Favourite things: Antiques of any kind, books, feathered pens and quality paper, dragons, and anything connected to dragons.

APPEARANCE

Tidus has a medium skin tone, with short, spiky dark azure hair. He has a blue design on his cheek and blue eyes.

Tidus wears a navy vest with a medium azure pattern on it. The top also features copper coloured details. He wears dark grey trousers tucked into brown boots.

ROSALYN

Rosalyn Nightshade is another water elf, who was introduced in the third story line. It is important to note that Rosalyn’s specialty is healing, but we will discuss her here because her base power is water. Lego describes her in more detail:

For years Rosalyn thrived as the queen of the forest, loved by all magical creatures and elves. She was a strong, honest and fair protector. Until the Goblin King tricked her, weakened her powers, and claimed the throne in her place. Ever since, she has lived hidden deep in the forest.

Powers: Earth magic.
Strengths: Loving, fair, fierce protector of her beloved forest and its animals.
Flaws: Sees the best in others, even when they don’t deserve it, and it breaks her heart. And makes her lose faith in her own powers.
Skills: Potion-making, and a deep wisdom of the magical world.
Favourite things: Her beloved animals of the forest.
Did you know: She once stayed awake for days to nurse a tree back to health after a dragon breathed fire on it.

APPEARANCE

Rosalyn has a deep skin tone, with navy hair pulled back into a pony tail. She also has a number of braids that are part of her hair style. She has a series of white dots across her forehead that also circle around under her eyes. She has blue eyes and pink lips.

Rosalyn has one of my favourite outfits of all the elves. She has a pale blue dress, with navy, white and magenta details, she wears a magenta vial around her neck, as well as a navy cloak that is lined with magenta. She also wears navy boots that have pale blue swirls.

MERINA

We now move onto the dragons, starting with the largest water dragon, Merina. All the dragons were released as part of story line two. Lego describes Merina in more detail:

Merina the water dragon is still a teenager. She’s the only dragon who doesn’t hate water. And she ADORES Naida. She is not very… outgoing. She likes the comforts of home, which is anywhere that’s close to Naida. Merina is still a little insecure and craves Naida’s attention and reassurance more than a dragon typically would.

Powers: Soothing water magic.
Strengths: Curious and playful like a child – it takes time to get to know her, but she’ll never leave your side once you’re her friend.
Flaws: She can be a little impulsive, emotional, and lazy sometimes, and a teensy bit clumsy.
Skills: Can manipulate water and summon it into the air by flapping her wings.
Favourite things: WATER! And her cosy home, which is anywhere that’s close to Naida.
Did you know: She is almost faster under water than in the air!

APPEARANCE

Merina is medium azure along with a dark lavender areas, her belly and the backs of her legs. She has four legs, white horns and two large wings. Her wings are a gradient of medium azure to dark purple with transparent areas.

SAPPHIRE

Sapphire is also a water dragon and has a special bond with Rosalyn. As well as being a water dragon she is also a mind-healer dragon. Lego describes her as:

Sapphire is a water dragon that has bonded with Rosalyn. She is brave and caring. Even though she is still scarred after Ashwing’s attack, she and Rosalyn keep fighting to heal the forest and all its creatures.

Powers: Sapphire is a mind healer dragon.
Strengths: Is willing to risk her life to help others, and she has the strength to fight even the most evil powers.
Flaws: When she’s injured, she turns those around her tense and argumentative.
Skills: Her presence makes anyone feel more calm and relaxed when they are near.
Favourite things: Fighting for peace in Elvendale.
Did you know: Her powers are so strong, she was able to resist the Goblin King’s mind-control!

APPEARANCE

Sapphire is primarily navy blue but she has a pale blue belly, as well as the backs of her legs. She has some magenta details too. She has four legs, magenta horns and two large wings with an additional pair of pale blue small wings.

LULA

Lula is a baby water dragon. Sapphire is her mother. Lego describes her as:

Lula is a female baby water dragon. She is sweet, but quite a handful!

Powers: She’s only just beginning to discover them!
Strength: Brave, always happy, and believes she can conquer the magical world!
Flaws: Sometimes acts before she thinks and needs help getting out of trouble!
Skills: Has a special talent for sneaking into places she’s not supposed to be. How else would she learn how things work?
Favourite things: Exploring Elvendale, any way she possibly can! And avoiding evil plants.
Did you know: She once stowed away aboard Aira’s airship when the elves visited Tidus’ Dragon School because she couldn’t wait to start school!

Lula is pale aqua with transparent pink spines and wings, as well as gold horns.

RAYNE

Rayne is a baby water dragon. Elandra (the Dragon Queen) is her mother.

Rayne is medium azure with transparent blue spines and wings. She has gold horns.

CORY

Cory is a giant sea turtle, who is also one of the Elemental Guardians. Lego describes her in more detail:

Cory the Guardian Water Turtle is the oldest of the ancient elemental creatures. The Turtle is wise, but she can be relentless, stubborn and demanding. She doesn’t always understand that other creatures, magical or otherwise, do not have the same years of life experience as she does. She has very little patience with people who, in her eyes, are too naïve or forgiving. She’s never afraid to make hard decisions where others can’t. Her only weakness is her fear of spiders, but she would rather die than admit that to anyone!

APPEARANCE

Cory has a dark azure shell with transparent blue details. She has a pale blue body which also features some gold highlights. She wears a brown saddle to make it easy for Naida to ride her. Additionally, Cory has the water-jewel on her forehead.

CALYPSO

Calypso is a baby turtle. She is pale aqua and has printed purple details and blue on her shell. She also wears a pale pink flower on her head.

DELPHIA

Delphia is a dolphin from Elvendale, therefore she has a lavender appearance with a white design across her forehead.

BLUBEARY

Blubeary is a bear from Elvendale, therefore she has a dark azure appearance with a white design across her forehead. She is the mother of Lil’ Blue. Lego describes her in more detail:

Blubeary the momma bear is a gentle little lady. She lives in peace with the other animals around the forest. But if her Lil’ Blu is in danger, she can turn bright red with anger! Just don’t try to get between her and her little cub – or her favourite berries.

LIL’ BLU

Is a baby bear from Elvendale, therefore is pale blue in appearance with a white design over the top of his face. Interestingly, he has the same shape as Lego Friends mice and hamsters. Lego describes him in more detail:

Lil’ Blu likes to take lots of naps all day and dream about all the magic in his world. He likes to build towers and caves of twigs and leaves. Sometimes he pretends to be asleep, so when Blubeary falls asleep, he can sneak into their storage cave and eat berries.
