Every Lego Elves Light & Love Element Character Ever Made!

The Lego Elves theme is one of my favourite themes that has been produced within the past few years. I think the design concept of Elvendale is creative and magical, along with the range of characters that were produced. One of the features of the Elves story is that there are four main elements, water, fire, earth and air, along with the rare elements of love and light.

This page provides an overview of all the love and light element characters that were created.

EMILY JONES

We start with Emily Jones, who is the main human character of the story. She is connected to the elements of light and love. Lego describes her in more detail:

Emily is a smart, quirky and creative girl, who is mourning the loss of her grandmother. She is shy in new situations, but quickly finds her place in a group. She is very fond of nature, faithful, a bit of a dreamer and just impossible not to like.

Power: Love
Strengths: Smart, practical and super creative.
Flaws: Gets a bit insecure and clumsy when she finds herself in a new group (especially when they are all elves).
Skills: Quick thinker, creative, a unifying force, great problem solver, combines knowledge from her world with the elves’ world, good at solving riddles.
Favourite things: Music, adventure and nature.
Did you know: Her grandmother is one of the five magical elven sisters who swore to defend Elvendale and the portal.

MINIDOLLS

Emily has a pale skin tone, with green eyes and some freckles across her cheeks. She wears her brown hair in a braid down her back. Emily also has neutral toned lips in a smile.

Throughout the duration of the Elves theme Emily has four different outfits:

Story line one: Emily wears a navy and white stripy top, there is printed amulet necklace on her torso. She is also in grey shorts and yellow sneakers. In one set she has a navy cloak (Skyra’s Mysterious Sky Castle)

Story line two: Emily wears a navy top with a pale blue pattern, once again the amulet necklace is printed onto her torso. She also wears dark tan shorts and red sneakers. In one set she has a white cloak with a gold pattern on it (Queen Dragon’s Rescue).

Story line three: Emily wears an off-the-should grey and white striped top with a dark pink tank top underneath. She is also wearing a grey skirt, navy leggings and dark pink sneakers. The minidolls from this story line have a physical version of the amulet necklace that can be taken on and off the minidolls. In one set she also has a gold sword as an accessory (Breakout from the Goblin King’s Fortress).

Story line four: Emily is wearing a red and white striped top underneath a grey jacket. She also wears navy trousers and red sneakers. In one set she also has a brick build sword that is gold, white and transparent light blue (Emily and Noctura’s Showdown).

SOPHIE JONES

Sophie is Emily’s younger sister and appeared in the third story line. Lego describes her in more detail:

Like all little sisters, Sophie just wants to play and have fun. She loves her big sister with all her heart, but can’t help teasing her every now and then. All Emily does is exciting, so of course Sophie tries to copy her. Emily is the only one who sees right through Sophie’s tricks. Even the elves can be taken in when she turns on the charm!

Powers: Just normal, human magic like playing and having fun!
Strengths: Full of energy, trustful and optimistic
Flaws: She can be cheeky and stubborn when someone tells her what to do. Even if it’s to keep her safe from danger…
Skills: Knows how to use her little sister powers to get her way.
Favourite things: Playing, and trying to uncover Emily’s secrets.
Did you know: Dragons are Sophie’s favourite magical creatures.

MINIDOLLS

Sophie looks very similar to her big sister, with a pale skin tone, blue eyes and some freckles across her cheeks. She wears her brown hair in a high pony tail. She has neutral lips that are in different expressions in both of her minidolls.

Sophie wears a pair of navy short overalls with a lavender and white top underneath and has yellow sneakers. It is worth noting that the expression on her face is different for each of the sets she appears in, with a happy expression featured in the Capture of Sophie Jones set and a worried expression in the set Breakout from the Goblin King’s Fortress.

LUMIA - ELF FORM

Lumia is a shape-shifter elf, who is also the Guardian of Light. Lego describes her as:

Lumia is one of the oldest elves in Elvendale and the Guardian of Light. She always chooses her words carefully and her ancient wisdom and faith help her keep the magic of Elvendale balanced. She is a shape shifter and can transform into a white wolf or a delicate bird. When she meets Emily, she has already learned much more about her than anyone realizes. She quickly becomes Emily’s protector and teacher in the art of magic. Lumia lives in the Elvenstar Tree and guards the portal to the Shadow World where she banished Noctura to almost a thousand years ago. Now, it seems, this portal may no longer be the only one…

MINIDOLLS

Lumia has a medium skin tone with pure white hair that has a golden gradient on the ends. Her hair is in a pony tail with a small braid wrapped around her head and left loose on one side. She has a gold design across her forehead with blue dots in the center. She also has dots underneath her eyes on her cheeks. She has peach coloured lips that are in a warm expression.

Lumia in her elf form wears a white dress, with a gold section on the skirt. Her top has a gold pattern and a white and gold strap. She wears navy boots that cover her whole legs that also have a gold and white pattern on them. Her main accessory is a gold and white staff that has a transparent light blue curling piece at the top.

LUMIA - EAGLE FORM

Since Lumia is a shape-shifter elf she appeared in two other forms, one of those was as an eagle.

APPEARANCE

Lumia as an eagle has a body that is white with a gold beak, legs, wings and tail. She also has a gold pattern around her eyes. She also has a brown saddle to make it easier for Emily to ride her.

LUMIA - WOLF FORM

The wolf is the other form that we see Lumia as. It is unknown if Lumia can transform into any other beings.

APPEARANCE

Lumia as a wolf has a white body with some bright light orange details on her belly, the backs of her legs and the underside of her tail. She has a few transparent light blue and gold details. She also has a brown and medium azure saddle to make it easier for Emily to ride her.

ELANDRA

We can now move onto the dragons. Elandra is the Queen Dragon that is connected to the element of love. Lego describes her as:

Queen of dragons. Like Emily, she doesn’t belong to a specific element. Instead she is the gathering force among all dragons. She is the largest dragon, mother and queen to most of her kind. Though Elandra shares an unbreakable bond with all her dragon kin, she has never bonded with an elf before. Her new friendship with Emily can make her as silly as a puppy sometimes. Only shortly though, as she will catch herself being so unguarded, brush it off and regain her majestic composure.

Powers: Love, and uniting all magic
Strengths: She is extremely wise, confident, calm, and has no need for showing off.
Flaws: Her powers can weaken if she is separated from her loved ones.
Skills: Sees everyone for who they are and brings out the best in them.
Favourite things: When everyone she loves is safe and cared for.
Did you know: She has an amulet similar to Emily’s.

APPEARANCE

Elandra is mostly white but has bright light orange on her chest, belly and the backs of her legs. She has transparent blue and gold details, including long golden horns. Like many of the other Elvendale dragons she has four legs and two wings, but is the largest of the dragons in the Elves theme. Her wings feature a printed pattern of white, azure and gold.

Elandra was available in one set:

ESTARI

Estari is a baby dragon who is connected to the element of love. Elandra is her mother.

She is mostly white with transparent light blue details and gold horns.

Estari appeared in the set Ragana’s Magic Shadow Castle (set 41180, released 2016)

NOCTURA

Noctura is a shape-shifter elf with the element of darkness. I thought I would include Noctura in this blog since ‘darkness’ is the opposite of ‘light and love’, and it is always fun to have a combination of characters in each blog (and video). Lego describes Noctura as:

Since the elf Noctura was banished from Elvendale to the Shadow World by Lumia, the Guardian of Light, she has spent her life planning her escape and revenge on Lumia. Finally, with the help of her loyal bat minions, she has managed to steal the four elemental shards from the four guardian statues. Now she just needs to capture all the four Elemental Guardians themselves and harness their powers. Before long, she will become stronger and more powerful than ever. Her time has finally come to break out of the Shadow World and rule all of Elvendale.

APPEARANCE

Noctura has a pale skin tone, with black hair that is loose and wavy, which also has a teal gradient along the bottom. She has teal eyes and black markings across her forehead. She has magenta lips in a wry expression.

Noctura wears a black off-the-shoulder dress, with one side that has a full sleeve and glove. The dress features a silver and dark turquoise pattern, with a small amount of yellowish green on the front. Noctura has black tattoo on her forehead and on her exposed shoulder. Her main accessory is a black staff, in one set it has a transparent fluorescent green curling piece (Emily and Noctura’s Showdown). In the other set the black staff has a transparent bright green gem at the top, also in this set Noctura is wearing a black cloak that has a dark teal lining (Noctura’s Tower and the Earth Fox Rescue)

NOCTURA - BAT FORM

Since Noctura is a shape-shifter elf we see her in the form of a bat.

Noctura as a bat is mostly black with a dark turquoise belly and jaw. She has a grey pattern around her eyes and a transparent bright green crystal on her forehead. Her wings have a gradient of black to dark turquoise to bright green with some transparent sections too.

Noctura as a bat was featured in the set Elvenstar Tree Bat Attack (set 41196, released 2018).

BAT MINIONS

Noctura also had seven shadow bat minions who are outlined below:

Crase is mostly black with transparent fluorescent yellow ears and wings. He has yellowish green printing on his chest and face. His expression makes him look like he’s ill. Crase appeared in the set the Elvenstar Tree Bat Attack (set 41196, released 2018)

Furi is mostly black with transparent fluorescent yellow wings and ears. He has orange printing on his chest and face. His expression is one of determination. He is also slightly taller than the other bats because his stud is not recessed. Furi was available in the set Naida and the Water Turtle Ambush (set 41191, released 2018)

Hippo is mostly black with transparent orange ears and wings. He has orange printing on his face and chest. He has a happy expression. Hippo also appeared in the set the Elvenstar Tree Bat Attack (set 41196, released 2018), as well as the set Noctura’s Tower and the Earth Fox Rescue (set 41194, released 2018)

Molo is mostly black with transparent purple wings and ears. He has blue printing on his face and chest. His expression is a little mischievous. Molo was available in the set Noctura’s Tower and the Earth Fox Rescue (set 41194, released 2018), as well as the set Azari and the Fire Lion Capture (set 41192, released 2018)

Myzo is mostly yellowish green with transparent green wings. He has bright light orange printing on his chest and face, which also includes a pair of driving googles. He has a happy expression. Myzo is available in the set Emily and Noctura’s Showdown (set 41195, released 2018)

Phyll is mostly black with transparent pink ears and wings, along with pink printing on his chest and face. Phyll was available in the set Aira and the Song of the Wind Dragon (set 41193, released 2018)

Vespe is mostly black, with transparent green wings and ears. He has green printing on his face and chest. He has a serious expression. Vespe appeared in the set Azari and the Fire Lion Capture (set 41192, released 2018)
